Inerting/Purging

Many reactors, pipeline systems, installations and storage tanks need to be made chemically inert, either temporarily or permanently. This can be accomplished through the application of inert gasses, such as nitrogen. In this way, we can avoid undesirable chemical reactions at the same time that safety margins are significantly increased.

Inerting is a procedure that is found in many different industries, such as the petrochemical industry, but storage facilities in many other industries also make use of it. This is especially true for processes that are highly specialized, such as those involving a pyrophorous catalyst when the reactor must be inert.

Because scale and complexity differ from job to job, Cryotainer has custom-tailored solutions for every application. The use of Flying Tainers makes it possible for our clients to choose whether they want to do this job themselves, or whether they prefer to have us do it for them.
