Pressure Testing with Gasses
Testing for strength by means of liquid (water) is a very old technique. But in many situations testing by means of gasses is a much better option. Examples:
- If little or no humidity is desired at the end of the testing procedure.
- In cold conditions: liquids freeze much sooner than gasses do.
- When purging is required after the pressure test is finished: in that case, when the test has been completed with nitrogen the required gas is already available.
We prepare each and every pressure test in as much detail as the situation requires. During the test itself, we apply the most stringent safety procedures.
Result
After the completion of the pressure test you will receive the following documentation:
- a written declaration attesting to the operational readiness of the object tested
- the checklists used
- graphs showing the pressure and temperature
- a daily job report
